Quality of Care
Radiology
The Radiology Department is operating 4 modalities:
1. CT Scanner
2. MRI Scanner
3. Ultrasound
4. General Radiology
In addition, the department will operate portable equipment for use on the patient care unit
and mobile C-arm for use in the operating room.
The department is available to service all in-patients both in the operating room and on the
in-patient unit. In addition, Out-patient are serviced through physician referral.
Certified technologists perform procedures. A Board Certified Radiologist will read all films.
Pathology
Diagnostic Pathology is performed under the direction of a Board Certified Pathologist.
Anesthesia
1. Administration of general, regional, conscious sedation, and straight local anesthesia
2. Monitored anesthesia care (MAC) may be rendered and will be supervised by a qualified
anesthesiologist
3. All physicians administering anesthesia/sedation are ACLS certified
4. Certified Nurse Anesthetists will administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist
5. Patients will be evaluated before surgery to assess risk
6. Pulse oximeters will be used intra-opeatively and post-operatively on all patients receiving anesthesia or
conscious sedation
7. EKG's may be performed in the facility and interpreted by the attending anesthesiologist
